[ Gilgamesh's body is ready for the challenge. Alien jail? More like a battle in which they best their would-be jailors, knowing them. But maybe there's something to the idea of making somewhat nice. Conquer by other means, or something. Gilgamesh remains certain he and Hakuno are destined to go far. A new world and a fresh beginning. ]
The thought did occur to me.
[ He admits it. They don't know what manner of currency there is here, so bartering seemed a generally reasonable option. ]
Let us enter an establishment or confront a street vendor or something of the sort. We do need more of an awareness of the world. Though the language barrier might prove an obstacle... but perhaps they have a translator, or I might have something of the sort in my vault. And we Servants are highly adaptable in that regard, you know.
[ He does in fact speak perfect Japanese despite being an ancient Sumerian who wrote in cuneiform, so yolo, how hard can this be? This shit just seems to work itself out where his kind are concerned. Maybe Hakuno's NPC heritage means she's more adaptable too. Not like he has any idea how THAT works, but, yanno. ]
[ PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THEM CRIMINALS BY BREAKING OUT OF JAIL! THE LAST THING HAKUNO WANTS TO BE IS A GALACTIC CRIMINAL!!!! SHE'S BEGGING AT THIS POINT!
Ah, but Gilgamesh makes a good point. There is a massive language barrier now. Typically, the Moon Cell ( acting as the Holy Grail ) would automatically translate everybody's language to adjust to the person hearing or speaking. It was convenient, especially in a digital world. In a traditional Holy Grail War, the Servants acted as the translators. There was one incident where Iskander had to be a translator for a local girl to his Master.
Gilgamesh was still a Servant and under a contract with Hakuno, so it wouldn't be far-fetched for him to understand. The Moon Cell does have a vast amount of knowledge. Hakuno wouldn't be surprised if an Alien language was installed into Gilgamesh's Spirit Origin. Well, only one way to find out. ]
Well, speculating won't get us anywhere. I guess get ready to sell a treasure.
[ Just as Hakuno was about to move forward in some random direction, she paused. The Master then realizes something important. ]
Are you going to put this under my debt to you? You know that not even in a thousand years or hard work I put out will be enough ever to pay you back.
